David and Camille, here. So, you want to know more about the baseball life? Well, then you have come to the right place, because educating others is our specialty and we want to show you around. Regardless of your age or baseball status, we have something to pique your interest. So grab a cup of coffee, a smoothie, or a protein shake, and get comfortable. We want to get to know YOU.
We're so excited you've stumbled upon this little space we created within the BIG world-wide-web, just so that we could connect with you. Via this pretty awesome platform, we educate young aspiring baseball players and their families, on what it takes to stand out in the world of baseball. We start by helping you identify if the path you are currently on is headed straight for your intended destination. Once we get to know you a little better, we set you up with a roadmap so that you can say you did everything you could to reach your goals while knocking a few out of the park in the process.

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED…
Ok, Camille talking now… From the moment I met David, baseball was a part of our lives. When I graduated from college and shortly after we got married, I decided to stop working in favor of traveling with him while he pursued this crazy dream of becoming a major league baseball player. At that time – 2012 – I started documenting our adventures in baseball together because my passion has always been writing, and I needed a way to release all the craziness that accompanied our lives. David made his MLB debut in 2013 with the New York Yankees, the same year that we welcomed our first baby. Since then, we had another baby boy, and David retired from playing. Now a coach for the New York Yankees, our adventures in baseball do not appear to be slowing down, in fact, I would say we are approaching the adolescent years. Because of this, I decided to start documenting it from a whole new perspective.

What is a position player in baseball? Essentially it is anyone who plays defense on the field. This excludes the pitcher and technically, in the American League, the designated hitter, whose sole job is to hit. While the majority of baseball players focus on playing only one position, each team usually has a couple of …

As of late I feel like I have been in a perpetual out-of-body experience. More often than not I catch myself looking at my life from an outsider’s perspective – something that has made me realize how blessed I am. Everyone in life has different wants, needs and desires, but intrinsically, our needs are very …

Before the season began, I set the serious intention of taking a bunch of pictures and videos, but I haven’t had the chance to buy a good SLR yet. Argh! Given that we are half way through the season, it ‘s really not looking good for me. Fortunately, we have great beat writer, Mike …

I have to be completely honest and admit that if my husband didn’t play baseball, the likelihood that I’d be a fan would be slim. Now talk to me about ‘em Heat and I am all about it. Where basketball is fast paced, baseball is a much slower game. It is a game that you …
