 Camille here…

This interview was done back in 2012 when David and I first started traveling together.  A lot has changed since then, but I can't bring myself to delete this.  These are memories...

I wanted to formally introduce everyone to my amazing husband, David Adams.

In order to do that, I thought it would be fitting to do a media style Q&A – something that is all too familiar.  Here is my attempt at putting on a reporter's hat and trying to stay as partial as possible.

This is the RAW and UNEDITED, David Lee Adams.   Let's get started, shall we?!

Q. What do you enjoy most about being a baseball player?

A. The game itself.  Playing every day. I have loved baseball since I was a kid and it has always been what I wanted to do.

Q. Tell us about some of your favorites... color, food, music, etc...

A. Color - Blue, Music - Country, Food - Probably a good piece of Salmon and a side of veggies - my wife won't be too happy about my choice in Salmon on that one.  It's always great to end on a nice dessert, a good pint of ice cream is always a favorite.

Q. What are a few things you would like the world to know about you?

A. I have always been a dog lover but now I can also say I am a cat lover thanks to my wife.   I have a younger brother that is 14 months younger than me.   Don't be offended if I don't acknowledge you during a game, I am in "the zone" and I never even acknowledge my own wife - It's not personal.   I love working out and improving my overall health in season but even more so out of season.   I don't consider myself the most talented on the field but I believe that hard work pays off.    I am seeking a relationship with Christ for the first time in my life with the help of my wife and other teammates.   I feel like I am becoming a better person every day.

Q. What do you love most about your wife?  Feel free to elaborate on this one.  LOL

A. Sneaky!  She is the love of my life.  I realized at 16 years old that she is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.  She is the rock that keeps everything in place.   She is always there for me no matter what - happy or sad, good or bad.   She has the biggest heart and has so much love to give.

Q. How do you feel about your wife's high propensity for saving animals?

A. HAHA...I think it is awesome but it can be a bit overwhelming when one day you come home and there are four animals in the house.   And then the idea that she wants more...sometimes I have to put my foot down, even though I know she loves helping them.

Q. Where do you see yourself in five years?

A. Playing Major League Baseball for an organization as an everyday guy.  In a nice little home filled with kids and all of our animals.    Where that is?  Only time will tell. There you have it, folks!  If you have any other questions that tickle your fancy feel free to ask and I will try my best to get an answer.

Interview Date: August 16, 2012

Since then, David has had a lot of fun experiences...
