MY LIFE AS A BASEBALL WIFE

David and Camille, here. So, you want to know more about the baseball life? Well, then you have come to the right place, because educating others is our specialty and we want to show you around. Regardless of your age or baseball status, we have something to pique your interest. So grab a cup of coffee, a smoothie, or a protein shake, and get comfortable. We want to get to know YOU.

We're so excited you've stumbled upon this little space we created within the BIG world-wide-web, just so that we could connect with you. Via this pretty awesome platform, we educate young aspiring baseball players and their families, on what it takes to stand out in the world of baseball. We start by helping you identify if the path you are currently on is headed straight for your intended destination. Once we get to know you a little better, we set you up with a roadmap so that you can say you did everything you could to reach your goals while knocking a few out of the park in the process.

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED…

Ok, Camille talking now… From the moment I met David, baseball was a part of our lives. When I graduated from college and shortly after we got married, I decided to stop working in favor of traveling with him while he pursued this crazy dream of becoming a major league baseball player. At that time – 2012 – I started documenting our adventures in baseball together because my passion has always been writing, and I needed a way to release all the craziness that accompanied our lives. David made his MLB debut in 2013 with the New York Yankees, the same year that we welcomed our first baby. Since then, we had another baby boy, and David retired from playing. Now a coach for the New York Yankees, our adventures in baseball do not appear to be slowing down, in fact, I would say we are approaching the adolescent years. Because of this, I decided to start documenting it from a whole new perspective.

One Flesh

By Camille | Jun 13, 2012

But for Adam no suitable helper was found.  So the Lord God caused the man to fall into deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the flesh.  Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, …

Vegan Tuesdays

By Camille | Jun 12, 2012

I have to admit that coming up with a new vegan recipe that I can try every week was a bit of a stretch for me.  I love a good vegan dish, but I also like to eat my favorites over and over like they are going out of style.  That being said, I have …

I am sooo excited about this post!   I know I told you about my favorite portobello burger, which pretty much entails just grilling the mushrooms and adding toppings, but what I am sharing with you today is a much more intricate burger – a totally different approach to the vegan burger.    Thanks to …

Happy Tuesday!   Today I am going to share a new favorite sandwich of mine that Breanna introduced me to when I first moved from Florida.   The recipe I am including is not Vegan due to the chive spread and cheese but you can make it vegan by leaving off the cheese or using …

Rain Rain Go Away…Cat To Come Another Day

By Camille | May 27, 2012

I woke up yet again this morning to thunder and a lot of rain. Coming from a tropical state and a city adjacent to the everglades you can imagine the shock I was in when I realized it rains more in NJ and PA than it does in FL! I say this from experience, not …

Charlie’s Purpose

By Camille | May 27, 2012

I mentioned a few posts ago that I bought David an arsenal of books for his birthday, one of them being A Dog’s Purpose: A Novel for Humans by W. Bruce Cameron.  This particular book caught my eye, along with Mainstream Vegan, just as I was about to take the escalator down to pay.  I …

God Has A Plan

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT4EubJ919I&w=560&h=315] I started catching up on Smash today and I caught myself wiping tears as I heard this song.   I wish you could see the entire scene on the show because it was very emotional.    In the last few months I have found myself looking to God for answers more so than …
